Hoffman’s Jody Andres to share insight at Wisconsin education convention
(Appleton, WI) – The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on many things, including the way people look at the design of school buildings. That changing approach to school design will be the focus when Hoffman’s Jody Andres addresses attendees at the 2022 Wisconsin State Education Convention in Milwaukee.
“School building operations, how they are cleaned and sanitized, and their indoor environmental quality have all come under scrutiny since the start of the pandemic,” said Andres, K-12 Market Leader and Senior Project Architect at Hoffman. “It’s crucial that future school designs take these recently enacted efforts and other important items into consideration as the health of students, teachers, and staff should always be a top priority.”
Andres’ presentation, “Beyond Reopening: What’s Next for School Buildings” will take place on January 19.
Hoffman has worked with more than 75 public school districts, private schools, and charter schools throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois and is an industry leader in sustainable planning, design, and construction of educational facilities. Hoffman is currently assisting Wisconsin districts in Appleton, Chilton, Clintonville, Darlington, Manawa, Marion, Tomorrow River, and Wittenberg-Birnamwood. This is the eighth time in the last 10 years that Hoffman has been invited to speak and share insight at the state convention.
The Wisconsin State Education Convention, held at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, brings together hundreds of school leaders each year to foster effective school board practices for student success through workshops and other education programs.
