Gener8tor: Ranks No. 31 on Fast Company’s fourth annual list of the 100 best workplaces for innovators

MADISON, WIFast Company today announced its fourth annual Best Workplaces for Innovators list, honoring organizations and businesses that encourage and commit to innovation at all levels. This year, gener8tor ranks number 31 out of 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, moving up from its number 35 earned spot in 2021 and representing one of two entrepreneurship-focused organizations on the list. 

Developed in collaboration with Accenture, the 2022 Best Workplaces for Innovators ranks 100 winners from a variety of industries, including computer science, biotech, consumer packaged goods, nonprofit, education, financial services, cybersecurity, engineering, diversity, sustainability, B2B, and consumer products and services. Fast Company editors and Accenture researchers worked together to score nearly 1,500 applications, and a panel of eight eminent judges reviewed and endorsed the top 100 companies. The 2022 awards feature workplaces from around the world.

Fast Company also ranked gener8tor as one of its 10 Most Innovative Companies in 2020, earning its number nine slot for using the startup accelerator model to empower musicians. Launching in 2012 with just two founders and a vision on a napkin in Madison, Wis., gener8tor celebrates its 10-year anniversary this month along with the success of 840 startups and over $1 billion in total funding across the country and abroad. gener8tor envisions innovators accomplishing measurable and transformational growth through its impactful and steadfast investments, focused programming and mentoring, workforce and skills training, and collaboration across industries, enabling equitable access and opportunity.
