Experience Milwaukee: Launches new effort to help Milwaukee businesses recruit and retain talent

Popular podcast expands mission to help elevate city as a top talent destination

Milwaukee (June 1, 2022) – The Experience Milwaukee Podcast announced the addition of Work in MKE, a new series dedicated to showcasing local businesses and industries, recruiting talent to the area, and growing Milwaukee’s reputation as a top destination to experience, live, and work. Experience Milwaukee has already attracted several prominent companies including Direct SupplyWantableNorthwestern MutualHarley-Davidson, and ManpowerGroup, who have signed on to participate in this new effort.

Over the past four years, Experience Milwaukee has become one of the most popular podcasts in Wisconsin and was recently ranked in the top 10% of most popular podcasts globally out of 2.8M podcasts. It currently has listeners in 40 states and 30 countries around the world. Hosted by Steve Glynn and Adam Derus, the duo focuses on lifting up the people and places that make Milwaukee special and promoting the city as a welcoming community.

Experience Milwaukee is actively recruiting more businesses to take part in their Work in MKE series. Offerings include the development of business showcase videos, podcast conversations with employees and leadership, and other elements that can all be used to establish or enhance company recruitment efforts.
