Madison, WI – Many contemplate how they can help the citizens of Ukraine, but
it’s hard to know where to begin. Needing very little other than a list of vetted
organizations, Dane Buy Local business members came together to raise and
donate almost $45,000.
Businesses raised funds in various ways, including donating a percentage of sales,
providing matched funds, and outright cash donations. While a single business may
not have thought their lone effort would make much difference, when combined
with the efforts of others, the result was significant.
