Champion Care: Two leaders with The Bay Health and Rehabilitation Centers recognized as ‘Women of Distinction’

ROCKVILLE CENTRE – Champion Care, The Bay at Eastview and The Bay at Suring Health and Rehabilitation Centers are pleased to announce that two of its Wisconsin facility administrators have been recognized with McKnight’s Long-Term Care News’ “Women of Distinction Awards.” 

Wanda Hose, Administrator of The Bay at Eastview Health and Rehabilitation Center has been named one of 12 ‘Veteran VIPs’ in the country, and Kristina Wright, Administrator of The Bay at Suring Health and Rehabilitation Center has been named one of 15 ‘Rising Stars’ in the country for the trade publication’s annual Women of Distinction Awards. Hose and Wright will be presented with these awards during a banquet awards ceremony in Chicago on May 12. Both were the only providers in their categories from Wisconsin.

Hose is a leader in Wisconsin’s long-term care profession. As the Administrator of a CMS Five-Star rated skilled nursing center, her leadership of the facility has ensured the provision of care to numerous northern Wisconsin residents over her 25-year career. Kristina is truly a ‘rising star’ in the LTC provider community, who has truly demonstrated servant leadership during her short, but distinguished career.”

Hose and Wright thanked their co-workers, families, and Residents for everything that they have done to support them during their careers. Both leaders also thanked Champion Care leadership for nominating them for the awards, and McKnight’s for recognizing their contributions to their communities and long-term care.

“It is an honor to be recognized by McKnight’s with a ‘Veteran VIP’ Award after my career in long-term care,” Hose said. “I am proud to lead The Bay at Eastview’s Team of talented, caring individuals.”
