Madison, WI – The Wisconsin Startup Coalition is coordinating an Advocacy Week, April 12 – 15, 2021 with the purpose of increasing awareness of the important role startup companies play in growing Wisconsin’s economy. High-growth startup companies lead net new job growth in Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Startup Coalition is dedicated to promoting policies that enable startup growth through attracting technology talent, venture capital and other resources startups need to the state.
Founded in 2020 the Wisconsin Startup Coalition is a bipartisan member-driven advocacy organization representing nearly 100 members across the state of Wisconsin who are founding, investing in or supporting high-growth startup companies. The Wisconsin Startup Coalition is the only organization dedicated to exclusively representing the voice of Wisconsin startup founders.
Wisconsin Startup Coalition members will start the week hearing from WEDC CEO Missy Hughes and connect with 30+ legislators on issues related to growing the amount of startup activity in the state.
