The store’s grand opening will be later this year.

The new store will be a Verlo Mattress factory store, with a showroom in the front and mattress assembly area in the back so customers can see their mattresses being made. “I think they’ll be excited to see what goes into their mattresses in person,” Ghambaryan adds.
Another contributor to Ghambaryan and Abrahamyan being awarded a Verlo Mattress franchise is Royal Marine Upholstery’s business model, which is complementary to Verlo’s. Armenian-born Ghambaryan and Abrahamyan came to the U.S. as exchange students 15 years ago, and Ghambaryan says being awarded this Verlo Mattress franchise is a continuation of his American dream. “I’m building it as I go. Everything started with Royal Marine Upholstery. We started from ground zero, in an area where we knew no one, and it’s been 7 years, and we’re growing every year.”
