UW-Extension, DATCP: Create new monthly resilient farms and families newsletter

The Farm Center at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is part of a new 12-state effort called the North Central Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network. This effort aims to provide education, resources, and support to farmers, agriculture service professionals, and mental health care providers to mitigate farm stress and reduce suicide risk in rural communities.

As part of the project, DATCP is working in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension to implement a new monthly newsletter for supporters of agriculture including agriculture organizations, service providers, stakeholders, and associations. The newsletter will provide information on events, programs, services, and resources available to farmers and educational materials that can be shared such as social media graphics.

The first newsletter will be sent on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. To sign-up for the newsletter, visit https://app.e2ma.net/app2/audience/signup/1945250/1932533/
