De Pere, Wis.: Joseph Webb, director of student affairs at Penn State Berks, will join St. Norbert College as vice president for student affairs effective July 7.
“I am honored to have been selected as the next vice president for student affairs at St. Norbert College and very much look forward to helping the college build upon its past successes,” Webb said. “I am excited to be joining one of the best Catholic liberal arts colleges in the country — one that prides itself on embracing the Norbertine ideal of communio, while providing an educational environment that fosters intellectual, spiritual and personal development.”
Penn State Berks is a commonwealth campus of Pennsylvania State University located in Spring Township in Berks County, Pa., with more than 2,800 undergraduate and international students. Webb oversaw the areas of veteran affairs, off-campus housing, diversity and international programs, Aspiring Scholars program, Pathway to Success Summer Start (PaSSS) program, northeast region global programs, student success and retention, admissions, student aid, athletics, health and counseling services, residence life, commuters, and the student emergency fund. In addition, he led campus-wide initiatives and oversaw programs, services and experiential learning opportunities to foster higher levels of student engagement, diversity, retention and success.
