Fox Cities Chamber: Responses sought for annual Fox Cities employer benefit survey

FOX CITIES, Wis. (July 14th, 2021) – The 2021 Fox Cities Benefits Survey is open now through Aug. 16 for responses from regional employers. The annual survey is a program of the Fox Cities Regional Partnership—the economic development division of the Fox Cities Chamber—with support from United Way Fox Cities, Child Care Resource Referral, Inc., and the Community Early Learning Center.

A national employee benefits study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) found that employee retention (72%) and recruiting (58%)—key challenges cited consistently by employers across the Fox Cities region—were the top reasons for increasing benefit offerings. The goal of the Fox Cities Benefits Survey is to gauge the competitiveness of benefits currently offered in our region, as well as inspire employers to brainstorm ways to increase employee satisfaction. A comprehensive, thoughtful benefits package can increase productivity, attract new talent, and reduce turnover.

The survey is available online at http://www.foxcitiesregion.com/2021-benefit-survey/, where respondents can also access links to resources, including government data and salary information. All survey respondents who complete the assessment by Aug. 16 will receive a complimentary digital copy of the results on or before Sept. 7.

In addition, an executive summary of the survey results will be featured at the Chamber’s Employee Friendly Workplace Breakfast Nov. 10 from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group in Neenah. This annual event is designed to highlight best practices for finding and retaining employees. Registration will be available this fall at www.foxcitieschamber.com.
