Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce recognizes employers who demonstrate a significant commitment to promoting work/life integration for their employees

FOX CITIES, Wis. – September 22, 2021 – Appleton-based transportation services providerU.S. Venture, Inc. has officially attained Platinum certification in the Fox Cities Employee Friendly Workplace initiative, the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce announced this week. The company becomes the third in the region to attain certification, and the first ever to earn certification at the prestigious Platinum level.

The goal of the Employee Friendly Workplace Initiative, an official Chamber program, is to create supportive work environments in the Fox Cities that improve employee engagement and encourage employee loyalty. A region-wide dedication to these policies, practices, and principles helps distinguish the Fox Cities as an outstanding place to live, work, and play – a key component of the Chamber’s talent attraction and retention objectives.

Platinum certification is the highest level given through the Employee Friendly Workplace Initiative. Platinum-certified employers set the bar for an Employee Friendly Workplace in the Fox Cities. They offer highly sought-after benefits, flexible policies, and an environment that supports work/life integration and fosters an exceptional employee experience.

At U.S. Venture, Inc., employees are offered a wide variety of employee friendly programming options. Examples include free memberships, two weeks paid time off for caregiving leave, and flexible/hybrid working options.

U.S. Venture is also invested in providing team members with careers that offer financial stability along with an opportunity to grow through professional development with individual development plans (IDPs), professional coaching, a mentoring program, leadership development programs, and tuition reimbursement.

Additionally, U.S. Venture philanthropy shares more than $16 million annually with team members’ communities, supporting them in actively volunteering and being a part of communities in which they reside.

“This program is a great way for employers in our region to share creative ideas and promote the value of employee friendliness,” Fox Cities Chamber President and CEO Becky Bartoszek said. “U.S. Venture certainly has shown a tremendous commitment to this value, and we at the Chamber are very excited to recognize them for their commitment. We know that creating a great regional climate for talent attraction and retention starts with individual employers stepping up and sharing their stories.”
