La Crosse, WI— To enhance patient care and keep families connected, Dairyland Power Cooperative has donated a total of $2,500 to Gundersen Health System to support their partnership with AngelEye Camera System.
Dairyland contributed $1,250, which was matched by CoBank, a national cooperative bank, through CoBank’s Sharing Success Program. The AngelEye Camera system will install 18 adjustable cameras in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The unique camera system allows for 24/7 access to a live stream video of their child, decreasing parental anxiety and promoting family bonding. The system allows for families to be engaged as integral members of the care team and stay informed about daily care plans and milestones.
“This camera system brings comfort, connection and bonding for the moments families cannot physically be next to their newborn child,” said Jonathan McKenzie, Gundersen Philanthropy Officer. “This year my wife and I had twins born early and we fully realize the importance of this system. We are comforted to know families will remain connected to their babies day and night, no matter where they have to be.”
