APPLETON – Recently in Appleton, Wisconsin ANTIX! Productions incorporated to become ANTIX! Productions LLC. ANTIX! is a multi-media production company, and social enterprise, aimed at supporting and inspiring both artists and audiences. Originally founded as a college project back in 2016, artistic Producer, Director and Founder Alex J. Frantz, an Appleton native, decided to continue the ANTIX! mission in the Valley.
Today, ANTIX! announced the release date of their premiere documentary “2020 Unmasked.” 2020 Unmasked will air on Youtube on March 15th.
“2020 Unmasked” is an Oral History project aimed at encapsulating the individuals’ experiences through 2020. “2020 was a year of collective trauma, we all experienced change throughout every aspect of our lives. I was curious- what could we learn from what we’ve been through.” Frantz said. He conducted over forty fifteen-minute interviews via Zoom from individuals across the country.
ANTIX! is a social enterprise dedicated to artists and their ideas. They are committed to enabling artists to embrace the collaborative spirit, push their boundaries and astound audiences. Antix! presents multi-platform productions, including theater, podcasts, film and experiential pieces to engage audiences in new ways.
Beyond the Youtube series, ANTIX! Productions intends to be producing performing arts content in the Valley throughout the year. Plans include a Shakespeare play, a musical, a podcast, and a 24-hour theater festival before the end of 2021.
