Helping Hands for Housing: Statement on COVID-19 emergency relief package

“The action taken last night by Congress marks a significant and necessary step toward addressing the economic hardships experienced by both renters and property owners due to the pandemic. Wisconsin’s $390 million share of the $25 billion in assistance will help renters remain in their homes and help landlords in maintaining those homes.

We will re-dedicate ourselves to ensuring continued successful cooperation to make these assistance programs as effective for as many individuals and families as possible.

Our coalition is grateful to members of Congress for listening to us when they made this historic decision.”
