Elmbrook Education Foundation: Partners for Elmbrook Staff Appreciation Weekend at The Corners of Brookfield

Brookfield, WI – October 20, 2020 — The Elmbrook Education Foundation (EEF) announces its Elmbrook Staff Appreciation Weekend at The Corners of Brookfield on November 13-15, 2020.

Beth Dobrzynski, Elmbrook Education Foundation Executive Director said, “We are excited to partner with The Corners of Brookfield to honor and thank the staff and teachers of the Elmbrook School District. Now, more than ever, we want them to know we appreciate their work and dedication to our students. We hope they enjoy this weekend that is all about them.”

“Passports” will be delivered to the schools in early November. Teachers will bring their
passport and Elmbrook staff ID to the Corners of Brookfield and get a head-start on their holiday shopping while enjoying Elmbrook music performances, great food and drinks.
Chelsea Roessler, director of marketing and events at The Corners of Brookfield, said, “As a community town center, supporting our neighbors, caregivers, and teachers is at the heart of what we do. We’re thrilled to be partnering with EEF to support their teachers, who are working tirelessly during this challenging time. We look forward to expanding our relationship with them and other area schools and organizations to continue uplifting our community.”

 Friday, November 13, 5-6pm, indoors at Von Maur Brookfield East and Brookfield Central orchestra groups: Wendy Cassel, Director
 Saturday, November 14 th 12Noon, Brookfield Central Pep Band: Jason Gillette, Director 1pm, Brookfield East Pep Band: Kevin Loughney, Director

EEF was organized in 1958 to award scholarships to select Elmbrook School District high school graduates. In 1999, the Foundation’s mission expanded to include teacher grants for innovative projects that benefit all students and raise money to support and strengthen outstanding learning ideas that improve the overall educational quality of our public schools. EEF has awarded over $1,300,000 in scholarships and $425,000 in grants which enhance and extend the established curriculum and support projects that are beyond the District’s budget.
