Cudahy Art Coalition: Promotes access to arts education, local cultural development

Cudahy, WI – A new organization will promote access to arts education and the development of local artists in Cudahy. The Cudahy Art Coalition, LLC aims to foster beauty and culture in the community by connecting emerging local artists to financial and educational resources in southeast Wisconsin, while also promoting local artists’ work, such as pet portraits, website design, and other custom services.

“With so many small businesses struggling & closing in 2020 due to the pandemic, I am excited to welcome a new business to the community of Cudahy!” said Cudahy Mayor Thomas Pavlic. “I sincerely hope that the Cudahy Art Coalition LLC & their new coloring book, Coloring Cudahy, will help people both within & outside of our community to appreciate the history, people, and places that make Cudahy such a great place to visit, start a business, or raise a family.”

The first project launched by the Cudahy Arts Coalition, LLC aims to highlight the cultural history of the city of Cudahy while helping to raise scholarship funds  with a new coloring book, “Coloring Cudahy”, which retails for $10.00 and can be purchased at the Cudahy Family Library or our website, https://www.cudahyartcoalition.com/. It is also possible to support the Coalition by purchasing a membership. Memberships in the The Cudahy Art Coalition, LLC are available at different levels on their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/cudahyartcoalition

There will be a book signing event this Saturday, December 5th, from 1:00-3:00PM at the Cudahy Family Library. Masks are required. The first twenty people who purchase a signed copy will receive a twelve pack of new colored pencils. You will be able to meet the founders at the event.
