Learn how American Family Insurance has fueled its digital transformation by emphasizing data science and data analytics, promoting data literacy, and centralizing knowledge about data within a data catalog. 7:00 – 7:30 am – Registration, Networking, and Breakfast 7:30-9:00 am – Meeting updates and Presenter Susannah Barnes, Information Standards Governance and Quality Specialist at American Family Susannah Barnes is an Information Standards Governance and Quality Specialist at American Family Insurance. She has a background in metadata management, data governance, data cataloging, and taxonomy development. Susannah is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) School of Information Studies where she received a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree with a specialization in Information Organization. She still works closely with UWM, serving on the MLIS Graduate Program Advisory Board. The meeting will begin with registration, networking and breakfast at 7:00 am, followed by WIT updates and featured speaker at 7:30.
