MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Veterans Chamber of Commerce announced it will host the fourth annual Wisconsin Veterans in the Workforce Summit on Friday, September 27, at the Baird Conference Center in the US Bank Building.
The Veterans in the Workforce Summit gathers veteran-friendly employers from across Wisconsin to provide critical information on employing veterans or military family members. The Summit invites senior leadership and executive sponsors of employee resource groups to join human resources professionals, employee resource group members, and employers of every size to hear from industry experts and community leaders on how businesses can attract and retain military veteran employees.
This luncheon event will feature a keynote speaker followed by a reactionary panel and workshops to round out the afternoon. The events runs from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
Secretary of the Department of Workforce Development Caleb Frostman will attend and give remarks. The full schedule of speakers will be announced at a later date.
The cost to attend is $50, lunch is included. Ticketing links will be available soon. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to share within your professional networks so all business owners can learn the value of engaging Wisconsin’s military community in the workforce.
