Five new members to join Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics Board of Advisors

De Pere, Wis.: The Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College has added five new members to its board of advisors.

    The board of advisors is composed of distinguished business and organizational figures from throughout northeast Wisconsin and beyond. Their leadership is helping to shape our regional economy and, in many cases, the global one. In their board roles, they serve to guide and advise the Schneider School in fulfilling its vision to be the intellectual hub for business in the New North and beyond.

    The following candidates accepted nomination and were approved by the board of advisors:

John F. Hager, J.D.

John F. Hager, a native of De Pere, has 33 years’ experience advising individuals and business owners in a wide range of estate-and-business planning matters, including personal and family estate planning, the purchase and sale of businesses, formation of new businesses, business succession planning and banking and commercial transactions. Hagar, who is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, received his degree in accounting from Marquette University in 1979 and his law degree from Marquette University Law School in 1982, where he was a Thomas More scholar. John is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Wisconsin and in the United States Tax Court. His professional affiliations include the State Bar of Wisconsin, Brown County Bar Association, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Estate Planning Council of Northeast Wisconsin and Green Bay Estate Planning Forum. John is a frequent speaker and lecturer on business and estate-planning matters, most recently presenting “The Probate Process: From Start to Finish,” through the National Business Institute.

Robyn Y. Davis, J.D.

Robyn Y. Davis is the president and CEO of Brown County United Way, Green Bay, Wis. Davis began serving in that role in May 2017. Prior to joining Brown County United Way, she led Freedom House Ministries, Inc. in Green Bay as its president for 8 years. Freedom House Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping homeless families with the skills and resources needed to achieve financial stability. Robyn is a long-standing member of Management Women, Inc. and was the 2017 recipient of the organization’s Nancy A. Felhofer Leadership Award. She is currently a member of the Green Bay Packers board of directors, the Weidner Center Presents board of directors, and the Northeast Wisconsin Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Robyn also serves as a facilitator with the Center for Exceptional Leadership of St. Norbert College and is a sought-after speaker on leadership topics. Robyn earned a bachelor of arts degree from Hofstra University in English and sociology as well as a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University School of Law.

Trisha Dickinson Lemery

Trisha Lemery is a 1992 graduate of St. Norbert College and serves as president and CEO of Winsert, Inc.  Winsert is a family–owned business located in Marinette, Wis., and is a leading global provider of innovative alloy solutions to a wide array of industries. Lemery is a second-generation leader of Winsert and a 2016 recipient of an Entrepreneur of the year award.  Trisha and Winsert were recently awarded a 2018 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year award by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce. She has served the organization in several different roles becoming president and CEO in 2010. She has emphasized innovation and continuous improvement to achieve results, and been a champion for manufacturing in northeast Wisconsin. She is also a strong advocate for women in manufacturing.

Dr. Richard Horak, M.D.

Dr. Richard Horak is a clinical geneticist in De Pere, Wis. He received his B.A. from Marquette and his medical degree from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Horack completed an internship at UC-Davis and a residency at the Mayo Clinic (Orthopedics), and practiced orthopedics in Green Bay from 1978 to 2009.  He currently serves on Mote Marine Research and the Brain Center of Green Bay. His areas of interest include genomics and epi-genetics in red tide, Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease and PTSD. Horack is also trying to partner with labs on developing a collaborative effort with a research university on human applications of elements of the shark immune system.  

Heather Mueller, MBA

Mueller works at Breakthrough Fuel, where she is the Chief Operating Officer – Breakthrough Supply Chain. Mueller graduated from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management with a degree in marketing and entrepreneurial management and earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business. Heather is a past member of the City of Green Bay Plan Commission and currently serves on the Greater Green Bay Board, Meyer Theatre Board and Saturday Morning Farmer’s Market Committee. Heather previously worked for Target as a senior presentation expert.
