MEQUON, Wisc. – September 20, 2017 – Since its inception, SKYGEN USA has been dedicated to re-engineering the delivery of health benefits through innovative, technology-enabled solutions and strategic services designed to increase efficiency and reduce costs of healthcare benefits while promoting healthier outcomes for all Americans. The company will showcase the latest examples of its SaaS, BPaaS, and strategic consulting solutions that drive dramatic results for payers at two high-profile industry conferences at the end of September.
SKYGEN USA will exhibit at Table #4 at the Medicaid segment of America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) National Conferences on Medicare, Medicaid & Duals, September 27-28, 2017, at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C. Craig Kasten, the company’s chairman and co-founder, will be a featured speaker at the event. Concurrently, SKYGEN USA will also be exhibiting at booth #102 at NADP CONVERGE, the annual conference for the National Association of Dental Plans, September 25-28, 2017, at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. John Schaak, president of SKYGEN USA company Scion Dental, will be a featured speaker at that conference.
Throughout both events, SKYGEN USA will preview the latest iteration of the technology that drives many of its innovations—the Enterprise System benefit management platform. Version 6.5 of the software platform, which will be released in Fall 2017, offers several key enhancements, including an enhanced network prospecting module, mobile device-responsive member portals, a new facility management module, and a configurable patient access dashboard with HEDIS reporting.
Additional industry-leading solutions SKYGEN USA will be discussing at both conferences include:
- Credentialing Service – Turns the traditional credentialing model upside-down with a “one and done” approach. Rather than spending hours slogging through duplicate paperwork for multiple networks and insurance plans, providers enter their credentialing information online just once—in 20 minutes or less. This creative solution to a nagging industry-wide issue also helps bring payers’ cost for credentialing down from as much as $200 to less than $5 per provider.
- Enhanced Benefit Management (EBM) Program – EBM uses the industry’s most sophisticated big data analytics to delve deeply into the factors that affect the total cost of delivering quality care, such as provider performance, benefit plan design, and reimbursement strategies.
- Provider Recognition Program – Using dozens of configurable, weighted quality and efficiency criteria, SKYGEN USA can compare provider performance to peers within a market. These rankings can then be used to recognize providers who deliver the highest caliber of service through means such as appearing at the top of listings when members search for a provider online and recognition on payer websites.
- Daily Payment Program for Providers – This program encourages providers to join the digital age by filing electronic claims and accepting electronic remittances so they can take advantage of a daily revenue stream.
SKYGEN USA will debut its CyberBen technology strategy at the AHIP Medicaid conference. CyberBen is a set of next-generation objectives and standards designed to re-engineer the way healthcare benefits are delivered to produce the most efficient Medicaid health plans in the country.
The CyberBen approach proactively applies numerous innovative technology standards to achieve five key objectives: improve access to care, reduce program overhead, contain benefit costs, safeguard patients, and support the MITA initiative sponsored by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Reaching these objectives will dramatically transform the administration of Medicaid benefits while supporting the mission of Medicaid administrators to protect the vulnerable and be good stewards of taxpayer dollars.
On Wednesday, September 27 at the AHIP National Conferences on Medicare, Medicaid & Duals, Craig Kasten will present “Why Health Plans Must Re-Invent Their Approach to Medicaid Now” from 1:50 to 2:40 pm E.T. The session will explore the disruptive effect technology innovations have had on once rock-solid companies and how lessons learned apply to health plans today. He will then explain why technology-enabled solutions are the only pathway for payers to scale their Medicaid business, whether it be medical, dental, or vision. He will also introduce CyberBen in greater depth.
At NADP CONVERGE, John Schaak will present “Expansive, Not Expensive: Keys to Building a Happier, More Productive Dental Network” on Tuesday, September 26 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm E.T. John will look at the current state of building a provider network, where health plans often feel they must resort to higher fee schedules to attract more dentists in tough-to-fill areas. He will then discuss other options dental plans can offer to encourage provider participation and ensure the delivery of more and better care.
