Wisconsin Technology Council: Co-working trends topic of Nov. 22 Innovation Network luncheon in Madison

Madison – Trends in co-working and collaborative spaces will be the topic of a panel discussion at the Nov. 22 meeting of the Tech Council’s Innovation luncheon in Madison.

The luncheon will be held at the Sheraton Hotel on Madison’s John Nolen Drive. Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., lunch at noon and the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $25 for WIN members, $35 for non-members and included with WIN corporate memberships. Panelists are:

Greg St. Fort, executive director at 100state, the largest co-working community in the state of Wisconsin. 100state will soon move into remodeled space at 316 W. Washington Ave., which is also home to other tech-based tenants;

Josh Rikkers, principal at Cresa, who has worked with hundreds of clients to secure more than 1.5 million square feet of laboratory, R&D, office and manufacturing lease and purchase transactions. Cresa is the world’s largest corporate real-estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of integrated real estate and project services; and

Tiffanie Mark, founder and director at Matrix Coworking and acting director at Horizon Coworking. Matrix and Horizon are the first independent spaces in Madison to offer joint membership to provide people multiple locations to work from, in and outside of Madison.

“There are a number of options for emerging companies when it comes to finding the space that is right for them. We’ll explore some of those choices and discuss co-working trends with three people who are close to the action,” said Tom Still, president of the Tech Council.
