Waukesha, WI — Jannsen Wealth Management, headquartered in Waukesha, was recognized for its extraordinary achievements throughout the year at the 2016 1st Global National Conference that took place from Nov. 15–17 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis in Indiana.
“Diamond Eagle firms set themselves apart from the crowd because of their commitment to excellence, demonstrating what it takes to excel in remarkable fashion,” 1st Global Chairman and CEO Tony Batman said. “They are dedicated to the individuals, families and businesses they serve, and they create a precedent for others to follow through their passion and admirable conduct.”
The Diamond Eagle award is based on business volume across the firm and is given to those firms that have consistently demonstrated 1st Global’s purpose of enabling intentional living and have cultivated their practices in ways that help their clients seek to live intentionally in their own lives, as well.
1st Global is pleased to congratulate Jannsen Wealth Management for reaching 2 Diamond Eagle status. We deeply appreciate Jannsen Wealth Management’s devotion to serving its clients through comprehensive financial planning advice, and we commend Jannsen Wealth Management on its continued progress and accomplishments.
Though a variety of uncertainties and concerns have been present in our nation lately, this year’s conference proved to be an added boost to help advisors to follow the theme of “Motivate • Innovate • Accelerate” as they continue to grow their practices into thriving enterprises.
1st Global enlisted the wisdom of a handful of key speakers to share their experiences and insights to help further motivate firms to overcome the obstacles they face and to take advantage of the opportunities before them. Speakers included Charles Duhigg, Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times journalist; Derek Daly, Hall of Fame racecar driver and network television color analyst; Cam Marston, author, columnist, blogger, lecturer and the leading expert on generational change and its impact on the marketplace; Katherine Milkman, associate professor of operations, information and decisions at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania; Dr. John A. Rhodes, vice president of practice management at CNL Capital Markets, Corp.; Ed Slott, author and retirement expert; and Dr. Komal S. Sri-Kumar, president of the Santa Monica, California-based Sri-Kumar Global Strategies, Inc.
Additionally, 1st Global President David Knoch delivered his “State of the Union” update to provide advisors with the perspective that, though significant changes are occurring in the industry, 1st Global will continue to help its affiliated firms thrive rather than merely survive during this transformative time.
One point Knoch reminded his audience is that change is not a bad thing, but it often creates apprehensions about the possibilities that may occur down the road. It’s important for advisors to remain focused on continuing to be the trusted professionals others rely on to help guide them through life’s many challenges.
“There’s never been a better time than now to use that intrinsic motivation to drive advisors, their businesses and the clients they serve toward transparency, success and living intentionally,” Knoch said. “Whatever happens, we are confident that our capabilities and innovations will help advisors and clients accelerate to accomplish the outcomes they desire.”
