Standard Process Inc. Announces Seven Employee Promotions
Promoted employees have a combined 54 years of service to the company
PALMYRA, Wis. (May 28, 2015)—Standard Process Inc. announces the promotion of seven employees at its company headquarters in Palmyra, Wisconsin. Promoted employees work in information technology (IT), production, professional development and quality control. They have been with Standard Process for a combined 54 years.
“When we have the right opportunity, we promote employees from within,” says Krista Beaudry, director of human resources at Standard Process. “We value our employees and encourage their growth in leadership skills and their continued dedication to excellence in performance.”
Lisa Livieri, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, will assume the role of quality assurance supervisor in Standard Process’ quality control department. In her new leadership role, Livieri will oversee the implementation and review of production records in the company’s Total Management System (TMS). Livieri will also manage the company’s internal and external audit teams to ensure Standard Process is following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) for dietary supplement manufacturers set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Jenessa Preiss, Josh Schaefer and Robin Sweno are taking on new supervisory roles in Standard Process’ production plant. Preiss, a resident of Janesville, Wisconsin, will serve on the company’s production training team as training program supervisor. Preiss will work with other production department leads to ensure consistent and effective training. She will assist in developing and modifying new hire training for all production employees and identifying areas of opportunity to improve training effectiveness.
Schaefer, of Palmyra, Wisconsin, will serve as mixing/granulation supervisor. He will monitor the mixing and milling processes and department personnel to guarantee FDA compliance.
Sweno, also a Palmyra, Wisconsin resident, is the new packaging department supervisor. As supervisor, she will ensure that the packaging department meets established product quality criteria and deadlines. In addition, Sweno will assist in updating department standard operating procedures to guarantee product compliance.
Michael Rollin and Julie Van Leirsburg were promoted in the IT department. Rollin, of Harvard, Illinois, is transitioning to IT operations manager from the IT Help Desk supervisor position. As IT operations manager, Rollin will direct all activities related to Standard Process’ IT infrastructure, including network operations and server support.
Van Leirsburg, of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, is moving from IT project manager to IT applications manager. As the IT applications manager, she will oversee installation, upgrades and customization of program applications used company-wide. This role is pivotal in ensuring that applications and processes are properly validated to comply with any applicable agency rules that Standard Process abides by, such as the FDA’s cGMPs.
Mark Thrift is assuming additional leadership responsibilities as he becomes the professional development and training manager in Standard Process’ professional development department. Thrift, a Franklin, Wisconsin resident, will be responsible for improving company, commercial and university education, as well as designing and executing training strategies and processes for Standard Process employees.
