Glendale, WI – Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the official Sprecher Brewing Company Rescue Fleet Roll Out, 3pm-5pm on Thursday, May 14th, at Sprecher Brewing Company, 701 W. Glendale Ave., Glendale, WI.
Spring has sprung and Sprecher Brewery is preparing to set its rescue fleet loose for the summer.
At this time last year Sprecher was putting the finishing touches on its first converted fire truck, which became the first tap truck for the Milwaukee County Parks Traveling Beer Garden™.
Much to the delight of Milwaukee County residents, their friends, and tourists, the Traveling Beer Garden sparked a renewed appreciation of our parks and local ingenuity.
Spurred by the success of the Traveling Beer Garden™, Sprecher acquired and converted a few more fire trucks, ambulances and a bus. This year there will be two Traveling Beer Gardens™ making eight stops in Milwaukee County Parks May 20th – September 7th. Discover Wisconsin will have its own converted fire truck and ambulance—Sprecher is the official beer and soda of Discover Wisconsin–and there is an additional converted fire truck and ambulance designated for events hosted by fire departments throughout the state.
“Our fleet has acted as good will ambassadors for the brewery, the county and the state.
Wherever these vehicles go we see people of all ages having a really good time and appreciating their surroundings. We’re excited about our expanded fleet; each vehicle has a fascinating history. This year we’ll serve a mix of familiar and new Sprecher beers, sodas, malt beverages (including Hard Apple Pie), and food items. Come and see what makes the Sprecher fleet so newsworthy,” said Jeff Hamilton, president of Sprecher Brewing Company.
