Operation DREAM Adds Alexandra Goldman to Board of Directors

Accounting Professional Will Serve as Nonprofit’s Treasurer

Milwaukee, WI, January 17, 2015 – Operation DREAM, a non-profit mentoring program for young at-risk males, ages 4-18, has added accounting professional Alexandra Goldman to its board of directors as treasurer.

Founded in 2006, Operation DREAM serves underprivileged boys that lack many of the basic support resources needed to help them grow up to be independent adults. In 2014, the non-profit saw a 20 percent increase in the number of young males that participated in its programs and provided 2,200 miles of transportation a month to its participants attending weekday and weekend programs, tutoring, libraries, sports events, sports practices, work sites and work training.

Goldman, on track to earn her CPA designation having passed all four parts of the exam, is an audit associate with Sattell, Johnson, Appel & Co., S.C. in Menomonee Falls. She joins a distinguished and passionate Operation DREAM board of directors that includes local business and community leaders such as David Gruber, David Frank, Scott Sampson and Harris Turer.

Goldman is active in other industry and civic organizations including the WICPA’s Young Professionals Committee and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s Crescendo Committee. She received her Masters of Accounting degree from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2013 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities in 2010.
