(MADISON, Wis.)–H&R Block announced its offices nationwide, including in the Madison area, will be open for 12 hours straight on Thursday, Jan 8 for an Affordable Care Act Q&A Day.
“There are a lot of changes to this year’s tax code as a result of the Affordable Care Act,” H&R Block District General Manager Mark Manz said. “25 million-30 million people will be affected by the tax implications of the ACA, but not everyone may know how their individual tax return is impacted.”
H&R Block ACA Specialists will provide a free ACA Tax Impact Analysis – a personalized review of how an individual consumer’s taxes may be affected by the ACA – so consumers can fully understand how changes resulting from the Affordable Care Act may impact their 2014 tax return and potentially their refund.
No appointments are necessary for the 15-minute reviews, Manz said.
