MADISON, Wis. – Khaleah Monger, a senior at LaFollette High School in Madison, Wis., was awarded the Summit Faust Scholarship at the Boys & Girls Club Hearts for Helping event recently in Madison. The $5,000 continuing-education scholarship is awarded annually to eligible high school seniors who are members of the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County and members of either STAR Credit Union, the only youth-chartered credit union in the world, or Summit Credit Union, the supporter of STAR Credit Union.

A member of the National Honor Society, Monger is her school’s class president, is active in several school organizations and volunteers at her church and other community organizations. She is also a participant in Summit’s Project Teen Money, a scholarship challenge for high school students.

“Khaleah’s achievements make her a wonderful representative of the Boys & Girls Club and an example of the spirit behind the Summit Faust Scholarship award,” said Kim Sponem, STAR Credit Union founder and Summit Credit Union president/CEO. “We wish her the very best as she pursues a degree in nursing this fall.”

Including the Faust Scholarship, Summit Credit Union awards more than $20,000 in scholarships to students each year. To learn more, please visit: www.summitcreditunion.com.
