FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 14, 2014

(Kenosha, Wis.) Rogers Memorial Hospital–Kenosha is now providing additional mental health and addiction programming following summer and fall expansions of services.

“The demand for mental health services continues to grow, in Kenosha and surrounding communities. Rogers always strives to be a part of the community. By adding and expanding our programming, we are hoping to we can help meet the demand,” said Jody Pahlavan, PsyD, clinical director.

The 9,400-square-foot-facility, located at 9916 75th Street, was renovated to include five group rooms, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) exposure therapy rooms, an art therapy room and more office space for staff. In addition to physical space, the location also added new mental health programming. For adults, a general mental health and dual diagnosis program was added, while for children and adolescents an OCD and anxiety program is now offered.

“We held an open house for school and mental health professionals, and it was great to be able to talk about our new programs and tour them through our expanded space,” said Debra Minsky-Kelly, clinical services manager. “Our growth in Kenosha is really for all of us… health care providers, schools and local families. The end goal is to enable life worth living through extraordinary mental health and addiction care.”

Rogers has been providing mental health treatment at its Kenosha location since April 2003. In the last year, Rogers has also added increased space and programming at its Brown Deer and West Allis locations.
