Edgewood College Commencement set for May 18

Madison, Wis. (May 16, 2014) – Edgewood College will honor its undergraduate and graduate degree candidates this Sunday, May 18, at the Spring 2014 Commencement Ceremony held at Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center.

President Daniel J. Carey will present degrees to nearly 300 undergraduates, and to 77 masters and doctoral candidates. This ceremony marks Dr. Carey’s final commencement as President. Carey announced in September of 2013 that he’ll retire at the end of the current academic year.

The College will award an honorary doctorate degree to Dr. David Warren, President of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. Dr. Warren is widely regarded as one of the most persuasive and influential voices for higher education in the United States.

The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m.
