MADISON – Jason Lucash, co-founder of OrigAudio and a nationally known entrepreneur whose credentials include landing an investment during an episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank,” will speak at the 11th annual Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference.
Lucash, who was Entrepreneur magazine’s “Emerging Entrepreneur of 2012,” also landed a spot on Time magazine’s “Top 50 Inventions of 2009” list for OrigAudio’s core audio technology and design. The company now has nine products, with more on the way, and has grown sharply over the past four years.
Produced by the Wisconsin Technology Council, the annual conference is one of the largest events for entrepreneurs and early stage investors in Wisconsin. The Middleton Tourism Commission and the Middleton Chamber of Commerce worked with the Tech Council to bring the 11th annual conference to Middleton after a successful 10-year run in Milwaukee. The conference will be linked to Milwaukee’s “Flying Car” innovation week in early June.
In addition to the Entrepreneurs’ Conference, the Tech Council’s programs include the Wisconsin Innovation Network, the Wisconsin Angel Network, the Governor’s Business Plan Contest, the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium and the Wisconsin Security Research Consortium. Its 50-member board includes technology, investor and research leaders from across Wisconsin.
