Green Bay, Wisconsin — Wipfli LLP (Wipfli) announced today it has expanded its Small Business Accounting Services practice with the recent addition of Kelly Runge as a senior manager. In her position, Runge will provide accounting, financial statement preparation, tax planning and compliance and general business consulting services. She is based in the firm’s Green Bay office.
“As small to mid-sized businesses continue to face ever-changing regulations and similar challenges as the larger companies with fewer resources, Wipfli has a strong Small Business Accounting Services team to help them to remain competitive and successful,” said Lonny Charles, partner in the firm’s Small Business Accounting Services group. “With her depth and range of extensive experience as a CFO in the private sector and as a consultant in the professional services industry, Kelly is a valuable addition to our team and will be an invaluable advisor to Wipfli’s small and mid-sized clients.”
Prior to serving Wipfli, Runge worked for over seven years as the CFO of a group of local construction companies. She also has 12 years for another national public accounting firm where she provided small to mid-sized businesses with a range of services, from financing and cash flow projections to operations consulting.
A certified public accountant, Runge is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of the National Association of Tax Preparers, the Construction Financial Management Association, the Associated Builders and Contractors, and Financial Executives International Runge holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
