Valicom: To speak at Wisconsin Technology Association on managing telecom bills, contracts and assets

The Wisconsin Technology Association (WTA) will host an educational presentation by Valicom, a 22-year veteran of telecom expense management, at their upcoming meeting. The WTA was formed in 1974 to promote the exchange of ideas and best practices among information technology and telecom professionals. Their monthly programs are designed to educate members on trends and technology that lead to better business management.

Valicom’s presentation “Bills and Contracts and Assets – Oh My” will be given by Valicom President and COO Jeff Poirior. Jeff brings 25 years of telecommunications and information technology management experience in voice and data networking, server support, telephony and security to his talk.

“We’re thrilled that the WTA wants to get current best practices for telecom and wireless management into the hands of their members.” Poirior said, “And since we know even experienced telecom managers don’t have all the tricks, we hope to bring some fresh ideas to the table.”

Valicom plans to cover the different telecom expense management strategies for managing telecom bills, both wireline and wireless. They will review industry trends and how cellular services are forcing changes to contracts. Finally they will provide best practices for staying on top of cellular and wireline assets.

The presentation will be held Thursday April 18 at McCormick & Schmick’s Restaurant, Mayfair Mall – 2550 N. Mayfair Rd Wauwatosa, WI. Registration is required, and the talk is open to WTA members, non-members and guests. If interested in attending, please visit http://www.valicomcorp.com or call 800.467.7226 x619 for details.
