WISCONSIN – Schenck SC is pleased to announce that Mike Kuechler, CPA; Todd Mueller, CPA/ABV, CBA; and Mark Spaeth, CPA, MST, were elected to serve three-year terms on the Schenck Board of Directors.

Kuechler serves as the Managing Shareholder of Schenck’s Fond du Lac office. He is a tax planning specialist for business and individuals with extensive work in family and business succession planning. Kuechler has served on a number of key committees at Schenck including the original Executive Committee, Technology Committee, Long Range Planning Committee and Board of Directors.

Kuechler graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is a member of the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). His community involvement includes serving as Past President of the Fond du Lac Jaycees, District Director of the Wisconsin Jaycees, Treasurer for the Fond du Lac County Red Cross, Treasurer of the Fond du Lac Rotary Club and Treasurer of South Hills Country Club.

Mueller serves as Managing Shareholder of Schenck’s Sheboygan office. He has developed a strong focus on serving the retail and manufacturing industries and holds the designations of Certified Business Appraiser and is Accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA. Mueller has assisted clients of all sizes with acquisitions, including leading financial due diligence and performing valuations. He has advised entrepreneurs who are purchasing a business, as well as large, established businesses who are considering the purchase of a competitor or complementary product line. Mueller has also worked with the leaders of family-owned businesses to transition the business to the next generation, providing guidance on estate planning, stock gifting and succession planning.

Mueller is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He is involved in the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation, Board Member of the United Way of Sheboygan County and in 2012, served as Fundraising Campaign Co-Chair. Mueller is a member of the WICPA, AICPA, Institute of Business Appraisers, Inc. and the Sheboygan County Estate Planning Council.

Spaeth’s areas of specialization include real estate, partnership, limited liability company and corporate taxation; debt restructuring; tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring; and tax structuring for real estate acquisitions, operation and disposition. He is a shareholder and leader of Schenck’s firm-wide Real Estate & Construction industry team.

Spaeth is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a Master of Science in Taxation and received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He is a member of the WICPA, AICPA, NAIOP – Commercial Real Estate Development Association, Metropolitan Builders Association, Urban Land Institute, Marquette University Center for Real Estate, and is Chairman of the Real Estate Roundtable at Milwaukee Athletic Club. Spaeth also serves on the board of Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion, Heiliger Huegel Ski Club, and Chicago Title (Advisory).
