MENASHA PACKAGING WINS 13 DESIGN OF THE TIMES AWARDS

Promotional Solutions Leader Among Top Award Recipient

NEENAH, Wis. (October 10, 2013) – Menasha Packaging is proud to announce it won 13 Design of the Times (DOT) Awards at the 2013 Shopper Marketing Expo in Chicago, Ill. The DOT Awards celebrates the most inspiring and creative in-store activation tactics and campaigns.

Menasha received three gold, two silver and eight bronze awards in four of eight retail channels, including: Drug Stores, Mass Merchandisers, Specialty Stores and Supermarket/Grocery Stores. The promotional solutions leader had 13 out of the 122 total finalists competing in the final judging.

Menasha’s winning Gold displays are:

  • Kraft S’Mores Half Pallet Display, created for Kraft Foods
  • Cepacol Sensations Launch PDQ Display, created for Reckitt Benckiser
  • Sharp 80 Display, created for Sharp Electronics
  • In a field of nearly 50 competitors and more than 120 total finalists, only one firm earned more awards than Menasha Packaging, confirming Menasha’s design leadership in this national competition.

    Leading consumer product marketers and retail executives judge the entries using the 4C’s of Effective In-Store Activation criteria and how well the entry: Commands attention, Connects with the shopper, Conveys information and Closes the sale. DOT recognition is awarded at four levels – bronze, silver, gold and platinum. One of the platinum winners is then chosen as the year’s recipient of the prestigious “Best of the Times” award.

    All DOT Award winners were announced on October 9, 2013 at the Design of the Times Reception and Ceremony during the 2013 Shopper Marketing Expo. Shopper Marketing Expo is the world’s largest gathering of shopper marketing professionals.
