Madison, WI, April 5th, 2013 -Patent protection is an important step in the development of any new invention, idea, or concept. Obtaining and protecting intellectual property rights is becoming a strategic necessity in today’s international business climate.
On Tuesday April 9th 2013, the Madison International Trade Association (MITA) will host a luncheon program to address the issue of intellectual property protection and offer companies an overview of the different types of intellectual properties and how to weigh the cost and benefits of formal IP protection.
Presenters are Lisa Bridge, a patent attorney in the Milwaukee office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. and Elizabeth Donley, founder and chief executive officer of Stemina Biomarker Discovery.
Registration deadline is Friday, April5th and can be made at www.mitatrade.org or by contacting Jen Pino-Gallagher at Communications@mitatrade.org(or 608-516-3257).The event will take place at the Madison Marriott West at 1313 John Q Hammons Drive. Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.; the program begins at 12:30 p.m. and includes lunch.
The cost to attend is $25 for members and $40 for non-members.
