Madison Community Foundation welcomes new staff
Madison Community Foundation is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members: Melinda Heinritz as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Kristina Klehr as Donor Services Specialist.
Melinda Heinritz brings an extensive and impressive track record in the field of development. She was most recently at the Wisconsin Historical Foundation for 12 years, serving as Executive Director for seven of those. During that period, the Foundation experienced strong increases in private philanthropic support. Heinritz was also the campaign director for WHF’s massive $77 million Forward Campaign, the Society’s first major philanthropic effort to ensure it remains one of the nation’s finest historical institutions.
As Director of Strategic Partnerships, Heinritz will assume responsibilities for A Fund For Women (AFFW), a Component Fund at MCF, as well as lead the Foundation’s efforts to serve communities outside Madison. Heinritz has served on the AFFW Executive Committee since 2012. She volunteers for the Foundation for Madison Public Schools, Sheltering Animals of Abuse Victims, and the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation.
Kristina Klehr joins MCF with over 23 years’ experience as a database analyst with Agrace Hospice Care. She brings extensive knowledge of Raisers’ Edge and other database systems, and a comprehensive understanding of trend research and analysis application. Klehr’s work at MCF will be to provide donor services support as well as improve MCF database capabilities.
“We’re exceptionally fortunate to have Melinda and Kristina joining the MCF team. Both share MCF’s values and bring a wealth of experience in their respective areas. Their work will be noticed and appreciated not only by other staff, but also by MCF’s board members, fundholders and other stakeholders as well.”
The mission of the Madison Community Foundation (MCF) is to encourage, facilitate and manage long-term philanthropy. Since 1942, Madison Community Foundation has been connecting generous donors with causes they care about most, helping them make a positive difference now and far in to the future.
