First National Bank-Fox Valley: Offers tips for business fraud prevention in February

Oshkosh, Wis. – First National Bank-Fox Valley, a privately held community bank, recently examined several case studies on business fraud to offer the business community added fraud preventation tips for February.

The studies focused on common sense steps to avoid business fraud. Tips were posted on the company’s blog, “FNB-Fox Valley Blog” and background was generated from reputable sources such as the FBI, Bloomberg Businessweek, TheStreet, Journal of Accountancy and Inc.com .

Tips focused on conducting employee background and credit checks, considering surprise audits, and creating and enforcing a fraud policy.
