Do you have questions about Intellectual Property (patents-copyrights-trademarks-trade secrets-etc.)? Or, do you just want to know more about it?

Aspiring or current inventors and entrepreneurs plus other like-minded individuals are invited to bring general questions and interest to the October 8th Imagination Network (Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club) meeting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Elks Club, 33 Sheboygan Street, Fond du Lac. Intellectual Property (IP) is not just for inventors. IP covers many creations of the mind or intellect including inventions but also literary and artistic works, symbols, names, images, and designs used in commerce. Learn more from a legal perspective and from practical, real world experiences in a casual, Q&A format. Participating in the panel discussion include: Nick Brannen, attorney at the Brannen Law Office; Greg Mies, inventor at Raised I Brow, LLC; and Ken Manninen, VP at Alliance Manufacturing and owner of Manninen Innovations, LLC.

The purpose of the Imagination Network (an Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club) is to educate, nurture and network area inventors and entrepreneurs. At each meeting, people can learn from peers and other resources in a fun and supportive environment. Imagination Network meets every second Tuesday. It’s free and open to everyone including aspiring and current entrepreneurs and inventors; current small business owners; retired or former business owners; manufacturing reps; investors; and entrepreneur support organizations in the Fond du Lac County area, surrounding counties and beyond.

Anyone wishing to attend the October meeting or be added to the email list for future meeting topics should contact the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC) at 920-929-2928 or email info@fcedc.com.
