Engineered Propulsion Systems, Inc. (EPS), recently hosted an Open House at its New Richmond, Wisconsin headquarter location. The Open House held on April 26th, included an update on the development of the Vision 350 engine and plans to build a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, a demonstration of the Vision 350 engine and information on investment opportunities at EPS.

Engineered Propulsion Systems, Inc. (EPS), co-founded in 2006 by Michael Fuchs and Steven Weinzierl are accomplished engineers who have successfully developed several notable engines including a new diesel engine for a major U.S. automaker, a diesel engine for a drone, and both have significant experience in launching engines into production. EPS is developing and manufacturing a new light-weight, high powered diesel engine (the Vision 350) that is diesel/jet fuel compatible. The EPS Vision 350 engine can be fitted to past, present and experimental aircraft designs without significant engineering changes and is suitable for helicopters, drones, and rapid response vehicles, commercial, personal and military aircraft.

The Vision 350 engine is a ground breaking diesel engine that sets new standards for fuel economy and performance through its revolutionary light-weight, “Flat-Vee” engine design using internationally available jet fuel. The current 100 low lead aviation fuel supply is under serious scrutiny by environmental groups, the petroleum industry and the military because of environmental concerns and the cost of producing this specialty fuel. The Vision 350 engine brings clean and efficient, “green” power to the forefront of aviation engines. Additionally, the EPS engine addresses the military’s single fuel mandate that will eliminate gasoline-fueled engines.

EPS, based in New Richmond, Wisconsin has secured the support of aircraft industry leaders, including world record pilot Dick Rutan (EPS Flight Test Advisor), received a $2.95 million U.S. Air Force Rapid Innovation Fund Grant and a forgivable loan from the state of Wisconsin. Additionally, the company has raised $5.5 million in funds from investors in 2012 and has just started Round C fundraising efforts to help continue the development of the Vision 350 engine.
