E-Hub: Class for aspiring, current entrepreneurs to start September 18

An Entrepreneurial-Hub (E-Hub) class designed to assist those desiring to start a new business or those already owning a small business but needing assistance will start September 18. Classes will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for 10 weeks.

Launched in Rock County in early 2010, E-Hub is a proven successful model resulting in over 500 business start-ups and reboots and thousands of part- and full-time jobs since 1998 in the Canton, Ohio and Green Bay areas as well as Rock County.

E-Hub is the starting point for exploring opportunities in entrepreneurship through dedicated business leaders, CEOs, attorneys and accountants who volunteer their time as presenters, some of whom are alumni and successful entrepreneurs themselves.

Covered will be topics such as determining the feasibility of the concept to the marketplace, the foundation of the business plan, learning about innovation and leadership principles, understanding strategic planning, and discussing and analyzing hundreds of small business issues and challenges.

Each topic is designed to build on the previous one to ensure a good understanding of how to overcome the obstacles and barriers confronted by small business. Certificates are offered upon completion of the program, as well as followup.

E-Hub is a community program of the Urban Hope Entrepreneur center founded by the late Reggie White, his wife Sara, and several Green Bay community leaders.
