The Wisconsin city of Cedarburg has launched a new web site designed to build pride among its residents, attract more visitors, and stimulate increased investments by businesses, all under a “Welcome to Cedarburg!” positioning strategy that leverages the community’s widely-recognized quality of life.

Built on a platform that operates on all computer devices from laptops to tablets and smart phones, the site’s user-friendliness is also reflected in its intuitive functionality with information resources presented for such specific service areas as city government, public safety and recreation, as well as for the more broadly-based interests of residents, visitors and businesses.
Additionally, the site’s home page displays a revolving series of photographs of Cedarburg’s quaint downtown, its historic architecture, utility services, schools, neighborhoods and overall “green” environment. The new site also displays the logos of all of the community’s organizations as hyper-links to their respective web sites, a column of news and announcements, and a calendar of official city meetings and events.
