Pests that commonly appear in the spring include “carpenter ants” looking for soft, wet wood to feast on; wasps and bees needing a new home; and “occassional invaders” such as centipedes, millipedes, and spiders. Eliminate sources of moisture or standing water.
Cut tree branches and other plants to keep them from touching your property.
Screen windows and doors, and install door sweeps to all exterior entry doors.
