La Crosse, Wisconsin – Agropur Ingredients recently announced the hiring of Gerry Buescher as a Technical Sales Account Manager for the company’s Cheese Division.
In this new role, Buescher will be reporting to Mike Homewood and working directly with Cole Johnson. The team’s main focus will be to further progress Agropur Ingredients portfolio of cheese-focused functional ingredients including Capstone® Anti-Caking Agents and Keystone® Stabilizer Systems.
“We are very excited to have Gerry onboard here at Agropur Ingredients,” said Mike Homewood, Vice President of Ingredients Sales. “He brings many years of technical experience in formulations of cheese analogues, processed cheese, and cheese sauces to our team which will help jump start our sales of functional ingredients into those areas.”
Buescher joins the team with over five years of technical sales experience and over ten years of Product Development/Formulations experience in the food industry. He received dual degrees in Biotechnology and in Food Science & Technology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
