Mark your calendars for the 2012 WVMA Annual Convention – A Treasure Awaits You – being held October 11-14.
The convention will be held at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis. As in the past, the convention will be held in conjunction with the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician Association and Wisconsin Practice Managers Association conventions. There will be an immense line up of nationally acclaimed speakers and trade show vendors!
Large animal tracks will include bovine, non-reproductive ultrasound, equine, zoonotics and small ruminant medicine. Public health, pharmacology, dermatology, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, feline, oncology, emergency and exotic medicine will be featured in small animal tracks.
The WVMA is pleased to announce the keynote speaker – Mike Staver. Mike, CEO of The Staver Group and a professional speaker and coach to thousands of people each year, has been referred to as “a Rebel with a Cause.” A resistor of conventional wisdom, canned solutions and tired clichés, Mike will push attendees to radically look at their lives and organization in revolutionary ways during his presentation, Deal with It! How to Stay Calm Under Pressure. Mike is edgy, opinionated, sometimes controversial and always truthful.
