Pewaukee, Wis. – Continuing a streak of honors from professional and peer associations, Swimming Pool Services Inc. was recently awarded a Silver 2011 Wisconsin Remodelers Award from Milwaukee/NARI.
The award, for “Landscape Design over $60,000,” honored Swimming Pool Services’ work at a home in the town of Erin. Recognizing the owners’ desire to take their home pool experience to a new level, Swimming Pool Services designed and built an outdoor living space that engages multiple visual and auditory elements in an environment perfect for splashing around or just relaxing.
The centerpiece of the backyard project is an 800-square-foot rectangle pool. Four arcing laminar water jets spray into the pool from the surrounding deck, the jets lit by LED lighting at night to create images resembling fiber-optic cables. A crown jet shoots multiple water streams from a single base elsewhere on the deck.
Pool users can swing into the water from a 24-foot curving slide built into a mount of stacked Kodiak outcropping stone. A pondless waterfall gurgles from its other side, the water bubbling and cascading down the rocks before disappearing into the bottom stones.
A new pool house matches the owner’s nearby home in design and materials. The building has an open area covered by a vaulted ceiling to offer protection from the sun and elements. A built-in bar and refrigerator complete its inviting aura.
The Wisconsin Remodelers Awards competition is open to all Milwaukee/NARI members. Swimming Pool Services is a longtime member of Milwaukee/NARI, firmly adhering to its high professional and ethical standards.
The 2011 Wisconsin Remodelers Award follows a 2010 WRA award for Swimming Pool Services, and adds to an impressive run of recent honors for the Pewaukee company. The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals has recognized Swimming Pool Services with Gold awards for its projects and service, including an Outstanding Service Company award for five consecutive years.
