Jocelyn Ertel joins the Sheboygan County EDC
The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) is pleased to announce that Jocelyn Ertel has joined the organization in the newly-created role of Communications Coordinator and Office Manager.
With an extensive background in marketing and communications, Jocelyn is skilled in public relations, copy writing, advertising strategy, media planning/buying, and office administration. Most recently, she was a Marcom Specialist at Pentair Residential Filtration, LLC (previously of Sheboygan, WI). Prior to joining Pentair, Jocelyn was Communications Coordinator at DuFour Advertising, LLC, Sheboygan. She also held roles in advertising sales at both Reader’s Digest and CIO Communications in San Francisco, CA. A resident of Sheboygan, Jocelyn recently graduated from Lakeshore Technical College with an Associate Degree in Marketing.
In her new role, Jocelyn will coordinate and manage administrative aspects of the organization, conduct public awareness and education programs, maintain customer relationship information, support branding and marketing initiatives, pursue project funding, and coordinate social media efforts
Jocelyn says, “As a Sheboygan native, I’m passionate about the success and economic vitality of Sheboygan County, so I’m thrilled to join the SCEDC and support the organization’s mission and strategic goals. Having spent 15 years in California before returning to Sheboygan, I have a deep appreciation for Sheboygan County’s quality of life and its hard-working people that will inform my work.”
Gary Dulmes, Chairman of the Board of the SCEDC, states “Being a displaced Pentair employee, Jocelyn has experienced the personal impact of a plant closing. Her personal experience underscores the SCEDC’s strategy of providing free information and consulting services directly to local businesses and those considering Sheboygan County locations. We provide these services to create or retain jobs and secure new capital investment in Sheboygan County to help ensure a vibrant local economy.”
