Sheboygan County EDC: Expands staff

The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation has hired four new part-time employees.

Gerard Brandimarte, Marketing Specialist, is experienced in marketing, communications, social media, graphic design, and photography. His prior experience includes roles as Marketing Assistant to Creative Development and Social Media at Johnsonville Sausage, LLC of Sheboygan Falls, WI; Director of Marketing at RoBran Industries, Inc. of Waterbury, CT; and Assistant Director/Founding Board Member at Nourish Farms, Inc. of Sheboygan. Gerard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Computer Imaging from Metropolitan State College, Denver, CO. He resides in Sheboygan.

Jocelyn Ertel, Communications and Public Relations Intern, is skilled in copy writing, advertising strategy, media planning/buying, and public relations. Most recently, she was a Marcom Specialist at Pentair Residential Filtration, LLC (previously of Sheboygan, WI). Prior to joining Pentair, Jocelyn was Communications Coordinator at DuFour Advertising, LLC, of Sheboygan, WI. She also held roles in advertising sales at Reader’s Digest and CIO Communications in San Francisco, CA. A resident of Sheboygan, Jocelyn will graduate from Lakeshore Technical College with an Associate Degree in Marketing in May, 2012.

Anna Yang, Administrative Assistant Intern, is an Administrative Professional student at Lakeshore Technical College. She will graduate with an Associate Degree in May, 2012. Anna resides in Sheboygan.

Alysa Strebe, Graphic Design Intern, will contribute her design expertise to complement SCEDC communications projects. A resident of Sheboygan, Alysa will graduate from Lakeshore Technical College with an Associate Degree in Graphic and Web Design in May, 2012.

“We’re delighted to welcome these new employees and expand the capabilities of the organization,” said Patrick Drinan, SCEDC’s executive director. “We look forward to their important contributions in expanding the reach and impact of the SCEDC in serving businesses and communities throughout the county.”

The new SCEDC team members will enhance communications and marketing materials and assist in office administrative activities, allowing professional staff more time to focus directly on assisting companies seeking to expand in, or relocate to, Sheboygan County. “Gerard, Jocelyn, Anna, and Alysa have already exhibited the skills and abilities to be important contributors in helping fulfill the Promise of Sheboygan County,” added Drinan.
