Second Harvest Foodbank Hires Mlsna as Agency Services Representative

CASHTON, Wis. – Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin recently hired lifetime Cashton native LeAnne Mlsna as an Agency Services Representative. In her new role, Mlsna will provide support to existing Second Harvest partners throughout Crawford, Juneau, Monroe, Richland and Vernon counties. She will also develop new partnerships with pantries and emergency meal programs that are not currently receiving services from Second Harvest. Her goal is to help facilitate the distribution of more food to more people in need.

In addition to her duties as Agency Services Representative, Mlsna continues to coordinate the food pantry portion of Cashton Cupboards & Closet, a local pantry and thrift store. She also coordinates the Cashton Mobile Pantry, which serves approximately 180 families from 10:30 a.m. to noon the third Tuesday of each month, located at 812 Main Street in Cashton

“I’m excited for the opportunity to connect Second Harvest’s resources with local food assistance agencies to help more people in our community,” says Mlsna. Local agencies within Mlsna’s service area who would like to work with Second Harvest to help end hunger in their communities can contact LeAnne Mlsna at LeanneM@shfbmadison.org, or 608-234-0863.
