SDS Architects, Inc. is proud to announce that Dale Poynter has been selected as the new President of SDS Architects. The Board of Directors met on Monday, August 13th, and voted him into his new position.
A graduate from the University of Illinois, Poynter became a member of the SDS team in 1989 working hard to establish himself amongst his peers. In 1998, Poynter became partial owner, and become a Principal in 2004. During his 23 years with SDS, Dale was the architect responsible for numerous projects, his most notably including: Northstar Middle School, Laskers Jewelers, Markquart Toyota in Lake Hallie, the Chippewa County Courthouse and LEC Additions, Chippewa Valley Technical College’s Learning Resource Center, and Commons renovations, the Chamber of Commerce building, Trinity Lutheran Church Additions/Remodeling, University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire’s Schofield Hall Renovation, and McPhee Remodeling, the Eau Claire County Jail Exterior Design and Courthouse/LEC Remodeling, Volume One’s new World Headquarters and Local store, and is currently working on the New Bloomer Elementary School.
