Sassy Cow Creamery: To be featured on Discover Wisconsin television Nov. 17 & 18

Discover Wisconsin Finds Whole ‘Latte’ Love in Dairy State

What: Specialty coffees continue their popularity, and among the most sought-after choices are milk and cream-enhanced varieties. You name it—cappuccino, latte, frappe or breve-a creamy variation is irresistible. The latest episode of Discover Wisconsin explores this flavorful phenomenon.

A bright spot in the food industry, sales of specialty coffee drinks are increasing by 20 percent a year, according to the National Coffee Association and the Specialty Coffee Association of America. Their recent study has shown that thirty million American adults enjoy this brew daily.

During the episode, host Emmy Fink brings viewers on a behind the scenes tour of Sassy Cow Creamery, located just north of Sun Prairie, to experience this cow-to-creamery story. Viewers will see firsthand how the Creamery uses their own family’s dairy cow’s milk that is made into award-winning ice cream and bottled into organic and traditional milk, and heavy cream.
